Great Divide Yeti Imperial Stout

Great Divide Brewing
Denver, Colorado

Grade: A
ABV: 9.5%
75 IBU
Style: Imperial Stout
Serve in: Snifter

Pouring a glass of Yeti Stout  looks like you’re pouring a cup of straight motor oil. It’s pitch black with coffee-colored foam that soars right to the edge of the glass. The lacing is incredible and retains itself for a while; one of the best looking beers I’ve ever seen.

The aroma is full of dairy-like properties; cream, coffee and chocolate; a very mellow and comforting aroma. The flavor is rich and dark, like a strong espresso. Sweet and hoppy, full of chocolate and roasted, woody hops. The finish is all toasted grains and mild citrus hops.

This is a heavy beer. It’s chewy and thick but stays smooth and has a carbonation that leaves your tongue bristling.

Yeti Imperial Stout is beer candy.
