Ok. Well. It pours a lovely amber color. A medium fizzy head with some high carbonation goin on. The smell is very sweet, in a very off-putting way. I probably gave a ‘what the hell’ face when I first tasted it. It’s supposed to be a German-style lager, but what I get is very sour, citrisy, with an acrid bite. There is some malt, there is a hint of butter flavor. The finish is herbal and grassy. It’s light and crisp and maintains a decent balance between dry and sweet. But I dunno. I think it’s a little too sweet for the style of beer, and something in it reminded me of seltzer water. Don’t think I’d go for it again. It’s interesting, to say the least.
